YAACQ Reliability

Are you trying to compute internal reliability (e.g., Cronbach’s alpha) for the YAACQ or its subscales? In order to accurately estimate the internal reliability for the YAACQ and its subscales, you must obtain tetrachoric correlations between the items, as they are binary scales. As such, traditional reliability estimation will underestimate the internal reliability of the YAACQ. So, how do we do this? It’s so simple to get started! Download the two files from this page.
